Talent Campaign for Kindred

The Situation

Kindred had recently posted its “Facilitator and Organizer” position which didn’t initially attract many candidates.  They needed help with a targeted campaign to get equity focused talent to this key mid-level position at their organization—preferably including people who were native or fluent Spanish speakers.

The Solution

BloomEd Group helped Kindred with a four-week talent campaign.  They wrote a plan that included a handful of job postings.  They cultivated a handful of promising pipelines and engaged their vast network.  They also set up “chats” for folks who wanted to learn more about the position before applying.  They documented all of their outreach for Kindred and reported on progress weekly.

The Result

Kindred had over thirty people apply to their position—a pool that was incredibly diverse and talented.  BloomEd Group found people who were mission-aligned with Kindred’s parent equity work in DC public schools.

Kerry was a pleasure to work with. She was very thorough and thoughtful. She quickly learned about Kindred and its work to be an advocate for us with potential candidates. She was able to find great people to join our team in just one month.
