Grant Writing for Possip
The Situation
Possip is an education technology company that helps schools get real-time feedback from parents, teachers, and students through texting in over 100 languages. It has been in operation since 2017 and has experienced growth quickly because of the increased need to be in close communication with parents during COVID-19, but also to reach diverse parents as a result of the racial protests in communities across the country. They were interested in applying for multiple grants, but their small but mighty full-time staff didn’t have the time to do it within their current scopes of work.
The Solution
BloomED Group was hired to manage and write three grant applications to raise capital for the company, but also as a way to fund a research study to document the benefits of its product for its customers.
The Result
BloomED Group completed three different grant applications in 2 ½ months for Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation, the W.T. Grant Foundation and an IES Education Research Grant.
